Couldn’t really imagine what it would be like to be able to breath under water. I think it’s likely as close as you’ll get to being a mermaid! Jo’s instruction was very clear and I felt super comfortable. Learned such a lot. Cool setting in a historic location. Can’t recommend enough!

I did my PADI open water course and it was the best experience you could ask for. All about scuba treated me brilliantly and I always felt in safe hands when learning and into open water.

Joanne was my instructor who was always very caring and teaches amazingly. Separate thanks to Sue and Jon for there support and top tips throughout the whole course and always being positive throughout the sessions.

From the moment I was in touch with Jon, I was met with a sense of fun and flexibility that made my experience stress free and enjoyable. He and Jo are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, ensuring that students, regardless of their experience level, feel comfortable and confident.

The school covers all bases, considering individual experience or lack thereof. They have access to a large warm pool for confined sessions, providing an ideal and safe environment for beginners to learn and for experienced divers to refine skills.

The open water sessions at Capernwray Diving & Leisure Ltd were not just educational, but also loads of fun. The beauty of the quarry combined with the guidance of the instructors made for an unforgettable diving experience.

We went for PADI open water course with my partner and it was amazing experience for us.

First of all, All About Scuba did all the best to accommodate us in suitable times as we were struggling with every week sessions because of work shifts.

Sessions was informative, Joanne our instructor is very supportive and helpful. We had a lot of fun together!

Open water sessions were just great! I couldn’t ask for more assurance and care :) we felt in a good hands all the way through.

I started by doing a DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) course to see if diving was for me. All of the team were very friendly and accomodating and I always felt in safe hands, and this continued throughout my Open Water Diver course. 

The course was paced according to my progress which was nice, only progressing onto new skills when both myself and the instructors were happy that I was comfortable with the skill, safety being no.1 priority. 

The open water qualifying dives were carried out at Capernwray diving centre which is excellently equipped and All About Scuba has a great relationship with. It was an amazing and enjoyable experience to learn to become an Open Water qualified diver and I look forward to advancing my skills through more courses with All About Scuba.

Jon and Joanne were both fantastic running the rescue diver course. They were really patient with me, taking the extra time to make sure I was doing everything correct. 

They don't just teach the course, they go above and beyond to make you the best / safest diver you can be for yourself and your dive buddies. I would recommend doing a course with either Jon or Joanne any day of the week. They will ignite a passion for diving inside of you, you did not think possible!

The instructors for my Reactivate course were very friendly and professional. They ran through all of the skills thoroughly and I felt safe and comfortable the whole time I was in the water. I did a DSD course with Jon in September, no previous diving experience and not knowing what to expect, just a recommendation from a friend to try diving. Getting in the water and getting used to breathing from the regulator felt really alien, but Jon was excellent in explaining how everything worked and making adjustments to make it as comfortable as possible. The DSD course gave a good taste of diving and Jon's 1 to 1 instruction was very professional and reassuring, so much so that I have decided to continue to do the PADI open water diving course with Jon and Joanne and look forward to starting the syllabus. I would 100% recommend!

I want to thank Joanne and her great team around her who helped me with my Re-certification! I’d not strapped a tank on for approx 10 years, but with Jo’s patience it all came flooding back, as did the water in my rubbish mask (my own kit), stubble and masks are not a match made in heaven that’s for sure. 

If you want to learn to dive or just have a dip these guys are brilliant, friendly bunch!

PADI Rescue Diver course is an intense period, meant to prepare divers for a real-life emergency scenarios. Instructor Joanne is a great teacher, she knows how to mix clear instructions with hands on practice through realistic open water scenarios . She is completely approachable and relates the serious nature of emergency training but keeps a good balance, ensuring the student enjoys the activities and training.  Even as she is challenging students to deal with potentially stressful situations, she imparts calmness and confidence to the students as well. The PADI Rescue Diver course is not an easy course but Joanne is committed to guiding people through every step of the way, encouraging and explaining each stage. A great experience helping me to take my dive training to the next level.
